This scholarship is available to new and prospective students seeking a career in cosmetology. Students must submit either a video or inspiration board with a supporting statement. Ten winners will receive scholarships which pay for half of their tuition (up to $10,000.) Students must attend a qualifying cosmetology program.
Kathy Jager Scholarship
Kathy Jager & Associates is now accepting submissions for a $250 scholarship. To apply, simply visit their website and leave your name and email. You will also have to give a quick summary of your focus in the cosmetology field and your plans for your career. This scholarship is open to all beauty school students.
Just a quick word of warning, applying for esthetician school scholarships takes some time. First, you need to locate those in which you’re eligible for. Then you’ll most likely have to write an essay and garner one or two Letters of Recommendation.
These LOR’s generally need to be written by someone already working in the beauty industry. A cosmetology instructor is a perfect example of this.
