Caitlyn Draper has mastered simple up-dos that look anything but basic, and she’s about to teach all of us how it’s done.
Meet a very special Avenue Five Institute Cosmetology School student and up-do extraordinaire, Caitlyn Draper! When Caitlyn isn’t busy learning alongside her peers, she does hair and makeup for weddings, photo shoots, and the occasional celebrity. 
Caitlyn’s up-dos are so impressive, we recently asked her to teach an up-do styling class to her classmates. It’s safe to say everyone had a great time learning from our up-do queen. The workshop inspired Caitlyn to teach again in the future. She said, “I am hopeful to come back to teach after I graduate!”
Caitlyn is best known for her beautiful up-do styles. In fact, she’s styled the hair of celebs like the Bachelor’s Alexis Waters and American Horror Story’s Cathy Marks. Not to mention, she’s been featured in Style Me Pretty, Love Wins USA, and Latest-Hairstyles.com.
Caitlyn has already encountered a great deal of success for a young hair artist, but she’s just getting started! In fact, she’s busy building on her skills and is enrolled in Avenue Five Institute’s Cosmetology School program. “My instructors have helped me to find my passion for color and I’ve become the go-to stylist for balayage, highlights, and color correction,” she shares.
The future is looking bright for Caitlyn, as she was recently awarded with the Arnold Miller Find-A-Way Scholarship with the Beauty Changes Lives Foundation! She will also be appearing in the July issue of American Salon Magazine! “A huge thank you goes out to my instructors at Avenue Five Institute & Pamela Villegas for their support and encouragement. I am SO incredibly thankful for this amazing opportunity and can’t wait to see what doors this will open for my career! ” – Caitlyn.
