What Can a Licensed Nail Technician Do in Texas?
Under TDLR guidelines, a licensed nail technician can perform services on the hands and feet, including nail treatments, massage, cleansing, and the application of artificial nails. Services like hair cutting, coloring, facial treatments, body waxing, and eyelash extensions fall outside the nail tech scope of practice and require a cosmetology, barbering, or esthetics license.
