A true Austin native, Ana is embarking on her journey in our Nail Technology Program at our North Austin Campus, ready to transform her passion into a thriving career. Growing up right here in Austin, Ana is bringing her local roots and fresh perspective to the beauty and wellness industry.
From Creative Spark to Comprehensive Training
Ana’s path to the Nail Technology Program began with a simple yet powerful realization. She shared, “I saw potential in myself when I started practicing nails on my mannequin.” This moment of self-discovery ignited her desire to pursue a career where she could channel her creativity. When it came to choosing where to hone her skills, Avenue Five Institute stood out. Inspired by positive online reviews and a personal recommendation, Ana felt a strong connection to our school. “I have read very good reviews about Avenue Five Institute & my nail tech is currently enrolled and she said that it is a very fun and organized school & recommended it to me,” she shared, highlighting the supportive and organized Avenue Five Institute culture. Her experience meeting with admissions and financial aid was “Great,” setting a positive tone for her educational journey.
Crafting a Future in Austin’s Beauty Scene
For Ana, the excitement of starting school is palpable. She expressed enthusiasm for “getting my nail kit,” a rite of passage for every aspiring professional! During orientation, her favorite part was “Seeing the school & my new class mates,” emphasizing the welcoming environment and the beginning of new friendships. With a high school background from McDade ISD, Ana is now diving into Avenue Five Institute training with a clear vision. Her goal is to contribute to the beauty and wellness industry, driven by her long-standing desire to pursue a creative profession. She explains, “I have always wanted to work at a girl job aside from being a criminal investigator.” This unique perspective underscores her dedication to this new chapter.
Looking ahead, Ana’s professional aspirations are firmly set on entrepreneurship. She hopes to achieve her goal of “getting a suite or making my own salon at my home” after graduation, serving the Greater Austin area with her skills. She is also deeply committed to her future clients, aspiring to “make their nails feel beautiful.” Ana’s favorite nail brands—Valentino, Kiara Sky, Dynamic, and Pana—reflect her appreciation for quality products, noting, “I love them because it is great quality & leaves my nails pop.” When she’s not immersed in her studies, Ana enjoys exploring Austin’s culinary scene, spending her free time eating out with her boyfriend. We’re so excited to see Ana flourish and achieve her dreams in the beauty world!
