In accordance with the Clery Act and the Violence Against Women Act, Avenue Five Institute is committed to providing a campus experience that supports the safety of our students, our staff, and our guests. Any form of sexual harassment, sexual assault, domestic violence, and dating violence will not be tolerated. Our school supports this mission by offering ongoing awareness and prevention events. Additionally, all incoming and current students and staff are also provided written information about campus safety via the student catalog, employee orientations and employee handbook. The ultimate purpose of this is promote safe and healthy student relationships that fosters a positive learning environment for everyone.

The school prepares an Annual Safety Report in compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Crime Statistics Act. This report is prepared in cooperation with the police agencies surrounding our campus. This report includes statistics for the previous three calendar years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus and on any public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from the campus. The report also includes institutional policies concerning campus security, alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, VAWA, and other matters. All current and prospective employees can obtain a copy of this report by contacting 512-968-2835 and requesting a copy through the school’s administrative offices.

If you have been the victim of sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, or stalking, you should immediately contact your local emergency services and make sure that you are safe. For information regarding procedures to follow after an offense has occurred, including reporting the offense, refer to the student catalog and/or contact a staff member.
